The Patriots’ offense struggled throughout, accumulating only 46 yards by the time the Jets took control with a 21-3 lead in the third quarter. The Patriots’ defense had no answers for Aaron Rodgers, who looked back in form, leading the Jets on multiple scoring drives, including a touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson.
New England’s offense couldn’t get anything going, especially in the second half, where they went three-and-out on their first possession and continued to falter. A fumble by Rhamondre Stevenson in the fourth quarter led to another Jets score, putting the game out of reach. The Patriots’ only real highlight was their punter, Bryce Baringer, who managed some impressive kicks amidst the team’s otherwise poor performance.
